We collect your personal information, for example, when you apply for insurance, use your credit card, submit insurance claims, give us your contact information, and make changes to your account. This information can include: Social Security number, drivers license number, credit card payments, and credit reporting service information. It can also include insurance history and insurance claim history.

Who might get information about me from Midvale?

We will share information about you only as permitted by law. We will share your information with our affiliates' and unaffiliated third parties that are market partners or service vendors, with which Midvale or its affiliates has an agreement, and which supports at least one aspect of Midvale’s or its affiliates’ Business. Midvale’s and its affiliates’ Business includes: underwriting data retrieval, underwriting decisions and processes, quoting processes, premium estimates, new product and new service innovation, pricing analysis, pricing development, claims monitoring, claims settlement, claims adjusting, claims assessment, research & analysis, transaction processing, account management and maintenance, responding to court orders and legal investigations, reporting to credit bureaus, or any other lawful business use. Information provided to insurance support organizations (such as claims reporting services) may be retained by those organizations and disclosed to other persons.

How do you protect my information?

We restrict access to your information to our employees and others who use it solely pursuant to Midvale’s and its affiliates Business. . We have measures in place to prevent unauthorized access that includes computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We use security measures that comply with federal law.

What do you do with my Email address?

When you buy insurance from us, we collect your Email address so that we can send you Emails concerning your transactions and other information that we think you will find helpful. We will not share your Email address with other companies for their marketing purposes without your permission.

How can I review and correct information you have about me?

If you think that information we have about you should be corrected, changed, or deleted, you may send an Email to commercialservice@homesite.com. We will tell you what actions we take because of your request. In some states you may have the right to file a statement with us if you disagree with our decision. For customers in the states of AZ, CA, CT, GA, IL, ME, MA, MA, MN, MT, NV, NJ, NC, OH, OR and VA: You may request access to certain information about you that we have in our system. To request access, send an Email to commercialservice@homesite.com and state your full name, address, policy number (if applicable) and the information you would like to see. We may charge a fee to make any requested copies.
